The group Huhtamaki Oyj has just completed the acquisition of Prisma Pack Film Industry Technical and Packaging Limited. The acquisition marks an important step in Huhtamaki's strategy of profitable growth and significantly enhances the geographical segment of his films, as well as the presence in the growing film market pads.
The Prisma Pack is the market leader in hygiene films in Brazil. Hygiene films are primarily used in personal care products such as disposable diapers, feminine pads and adult diapers. The Prism Pack's net sales in 2010 were approximately € 40 million. The company has a strong track record of sales growth since its inception in 2003, and employs approximately 200 people.
